Accomplishments

This week hailed the last night of AWANA club until September.



Allison completed and earned her 3rd Book Award. This was her last year in Sparks and this fall she will move into T&T (Truth and Training).



Abby completed and earned her 1st Book Award in Cubbies!



Allison also presented a book project during her Literature Class at our homeschool co-op. She read the book "Justin Morgan Had a Horse." Her written report and project were both really well done.

We had a fun co-op term and it is now over, also until September. "School" photos were taken and I'm in the process of ordering prints now! Next week, our swim lessons begin, which we're all looking forward to.


A couple of the girls' friends came over and they decided to finger paint!


We enjoyed a nice visit with my dad on Monday.


Abby loves goggles of all shapes and....sizes! :)

March

David turned 5 months old this month and (*sniff*) outgrew this darling "lumber jack" outfit!


He's learned to roll all over the place and is now beginning to try to figure out how to get into a crawling position.


We started the small project of replacing the flooring in the laundry room...



only for it to turn into a huge remodel project, thanks to the shoddy work of the original homeowner. :(



We have all finally gotten over being sick! All five of us kept coming down with something for about 6 weeks. One afternoon, I peeked in on Abby, who was supposed to be resting in her bed, only to find that she'd fallen asleep while looking at the pictures in her Bible. :)


Here's Allison - all dressed up for her first piano recital! She did really well and we are so proud of her.

Abby got a hair cut for "Locks of Love" - an organization that accepts donations of hair (10" +) and then uses them to make wigs for people who have lost their hair due to illness or severe burns.

We've been enjoying our new year so far!


Abby started Pre-School this month!


She really enjoyed decorating daddy's stool with her letter magnets. :)


Chris has been reading The Chronicles of Narnia books to the girls. It really brings back memories of my dad reading them to my sister and I!


I turned 30 this month - yikes! I enjoyed spending the day with my family. :)


Abby wanted to be my present - hahaha!


David continues to grow....


and charm us all...



as he turns 3 months old this month!

David - 2 Months Old!

Time really flies! David is two months old already! He's beginning to smile a lot more often and already weighs 14lbs.




Here are some pictures taken this past weekend while some friends were visiting. The girls had fun playing in the snow (I think we've got about a foot now) and Henry even got in on the action!

Allison's 8th Birthday Party

Allison's almost eight and, to celebrate, we threw a paw-rty for her and five friends last night!


The girls played a couple of games, including stick-the-tail-on-the-doggy.


For their activity, the girls decorated stuffed puppies with fabric markers - to take home. They were pretty excited!


After a yummy dinner of pizza, the girls had these puppy cake pops and...


a dog bone cake! Can you guess what Allison chose for her party theme? :)


The girls all had a wonderful time playing together.
